Internet Safety

We have had a number of children upset this week over the use of ‘Snapchat’ and other communication apps.

I am putting a plea out to all parents to please monitor your children with their use of Snapchat but more importantly how messages can be misinterpreted and cause upset and distress. Snapchat is an app recommended for children over the age of 13 and to support parents in making wise decisions about their child’s use of Snapchat please see some useful guides below. It is our responsibility as parents to educate our children about internet safety and how these apps are used in a successful and positive way rather than causing upset and distress. Deleting the app or using the blocking facility is always an option!
