Vacancies

St. Matthias CE Primary School employs approximately 40 staff in both teaching and support staff positions.

St. Matthias is a rewarding place to work, whether you join us in a teaching or support staff or Governor role. The school is situated in Malvern Link, just a mile away from the delightful town of Great Malvern and the beautiful Malvern Hills. Many of our children come from families who have long been connected with both the school and St. Matthias Church. We have eight classes from our Nursery up to Year 6 and we currently have just over 180 pupils on our register. Our Governors and parents are keen to support a positive and caring ethos.  We are committed to a child-centred education and to ensuring that every child in our community has access to the highest possible standard of education.

We want to appoint staff who have high expectations of everyone; enjoy working as a member of a team and who believe in a continuous improvement approach.  We take our commitment to our children’s learning extremely seriously. In order to provide an excellent education for all, we are fully committed to a comprehensive programme of Professional Development for staff and Governors.  St Matthias is a rewarding and happy school to work in.

Teachers, support staff and Governors are hardworking individuals who inspire pupils with their enthusiasm and determination to make a positive difference for all children.  All members of staff at St. Matthias are an integral part of the school community, providing bespoke support for our pupils or in ensuring the smooth running of each working day.

Current vacancies are advertised on ETeach and The Spire website. For further information please enquire at the main office.

Please be aware that this school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Any offer to the successful candidate will be conditional upon an Enhanced Disclosure being obtained via the Criminal Records Bureau. References will be taken up prior to interview.
