Friends of St Matthias

We have a small but very active group of parents who work incredibly hard to fundraise and provide exciting events for the children at St Matthias. All funds raised go back to the school and are used for projects to enhance children's experiences whilst at St Matthias such as an amazing 'Circus Skills Week' by Shooting Stars Circus which also provided entertainment for parents in a final show at the end of the week.

The Friends are always looking for new volunteers with great ideas and energy to support them over the year.

Charity Fundraising

Our School Council hold meetings to discuss fundraising events which are for our school and also for local and national charities. Usually the charities are close to our hearts and have huge impact on our children.
