On Tuesday 9th February, Class 2 spent the afternoon thinking about internet safety and how we can keep ourselves safe when using the internet. We watched a CEOP video about people not being who they say they are when they are online and learnt how to keep our personal information safe.
We made masks to show that not everyone online is who they say they are, just like some of the characters in the video.
Happy New Year!
We have been back a couple of weeks now and the children have quickly settled back into school routines. This term our theme is 'Wild Thing' which will draw together our learning about animals and their habitats, famous explorers and their amazing adventures and stories with wild animals as the main characters. Click on the pdf link below for a full version of our Curriculum Newsletter for this term.
We are looking forward to a visit from The Animal Man later in the Spring term where we can get 'hands on' with lots of different creatures and we will also be inviting parents to join us on a family visit to Malvern Library. Don't forget our annual Easter bonnet parade will take place this term - we also look forward to seeing lots of you at our bonnet making morning (see weekly newsletter for confirmed dates).
Please do come and talk to a member of the Class 2 team if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions - we are always very happy to help.
Welcome back to school!
A very warm welcome back to school - we hope you have enjoyed your summer and are full of energy and enthusiasm for the new term.
Our topic for this term is 'Long, Long Ago' where we will be finding out about castles, the Battle of Hastings, life in medieval times and mythical dragons. Please click on the link to see our full Curriculum Newsletter for full details.
We will be visiting Dudley Castle and Zoo later this month to find out first-hand what life in a castle was like many years ago. We also plan to visit Longlands Farm for a hands-on nativity with real sheep, cattle and ponies.
Please come and see a member of the Class 2 team if you have any questions at all - we are always very happy to help.
Have a great term!
