At St. Matthias we are constantly striving to improve the way we do things at school and an important part of how we do this is to consult with our parents. After all, it is our children and our families who are at the receiving end of all we do here. It is only by working with you that we can make sure we get things right for everyone.
Three years ago we set up a Parent Voice group who meet for an hour each half term to discuss how things are going. So far, this group have had an enormous impact on the quality of school dinners, school photographs, playtimes, school clubs, sports days; we seem to have discussed a massive variety of things and our parents have made excellent suggestions that we have been able to put in place.
We are now looking for new members to join our Parent Voice group.
If you are passionate about your child’s learning this is your opportunity to meet with Mrs Beale and Mrs Davies and lend your ideas in a positive way.
We meet on a Thursday morning 9-10am once a term with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits to go round.
We are hoping for at least 6 parents to enable us to run this group successfully and have a range of viewpoints from across the school.
If you would like to be part of our Parent Voice group and help shape the future of St. Matthias, please let us know at the school office.
Please come along and join in!
